I'm amazed at the amount of people who wished me a happy birthday! To be honest It kinda sucked. I worked all day and was in a bad mood but when I saw all y'all wishing me a happy birthday it lifted my spirits like you wouldn't believe. Im so grateful to be a part of such a loving community with so many fans and friends. Thank you so much.
Im so sorry I havent uploaded anything recently. I just moved into a dorm and have been busy with college and have been unable to scan anything lately. I hope to change that sometime this week. So dont think i forgot about the new comics!
In the meantime I've been having alot of thoughts about mass effect 4 and how it could work. and since i have nothing else to give right now, Ill share them with you! (or you can skip. thanks again!)
So alot of people have been speculating that the next Mass Effect will be a prequel, but... in all honesty who would want that? Mass Effect has alot of rich lore but I want to play in the galaxy we united!! now there would be alot of variables to import, but the big 3 are:
1. The fate of the geth/quarians
2. The fate of the krogan
3. If the player chose Destroy, Control, or Synthesis
There are alot of other variables, like which squadmates lived or died, but I dont think it will involve them. Maybe we'll get to see a matriarch Liara or a Clan Master Grunt, but I think it will involve brand new charecters in a brand new setting that is friendly for new players but still interesting for us veterans.
1. If like most mass effect 3 players you were able to get the geth and the quarians to work together, then Id expect we would see full fledged charecters from both sides and geth with differing opinions and personalities as a result of Legion's sacrifice.
If one race was killed, I think the remaining race will replace them. For instance, if the quarians were killed, the Geth will occupy Rannoch and are the leading tech expert race. And if you were to meet an NPC that was "supposed" to be a quarian, they have been replaced by a Geth NPC and vice versa. Make sense?
This is also tricky with the destroy ending. Bioware could just go with the "Quarians only" route and have it play out the same as if the Geth were destroyed on Rannoch... BUT wouldn't it be FAR more interesting if the Quarians reactivated the geth platforms that were left over after the blast, but made it so they were more like the Geth before the Morning War? What if they took away the Geth's ability to network with eachother so they couldn't achieve true intelligence again? So now we have Quarians with geth servants by their side. food for thought.
2.The Krogan are in the same boat, they can still be there or completely extinct. Except unlike the quarians and geth they lack a counterpart to replace them in the game... Or DO they!? I think that in the absence of Krogan, many mercenaries and private armies would be looking for a replacement race. A race that is huge, ferocious, and intimidating. a race like... the Yahg perhaps? I think the Yahg would be uplifted much like the Krogan were to use as beasts of war. and much like the Krogan, they would soon become too much to control and revolt. I would love to fight a Yahg as an enemy or maybe even have one as a squad mate. But maybe thats just me.
3. the endings will be the trickiest part. Reject will obviously not carry over, the same way you couldnt import a dead Shephard into Mass Effect 3. Destroy will probably be the default ending, but all three need to some way bleed into the same story. maybe synthesis just has unmasked quarians and that green glow effect on every charecter, NPC, animal, and... God that would be annoying. Im not even gonna touch that. Ill just have to hope they know what to do for all that.
But what are your thoughts? Do you like my ideas? hate them? Have any ideas of your own? let me know in the comments!
